My weight has been yo-yoing for many years. I could offer just as many excuses, reasons, and justifications; but I won’t. This has been going on for a long time, and it’s my fault because after all, it’s my body and my mouth the food has been going into.
I got fed up (ha!) with the current situation over the holidays and commenced dieting and exercise right after the New Year. I don’t do New Year’s resolutions, by the way; most of this is driven by how I felt while travelling in Germany and what I saw there.
I also don’t do diets. There are healthy ways to eat, and there are more unhealthy ways. I’m eating healthy now. I’m also exercising.
And I’m down about 21 pounds today.
Committing to eating healthy and continuing to exercise here doesn’t prove much. There’s no way for you to verify my claims. I’m not going to go down the road of posting pictures of myself here, but I won’t falsify results on a public blog either.
So, here’s what I am going to do: I will provide at least weekly updates. and I won’t lie.
